Sandy Skoglund
Sandy Skoglund is an American surrealist photographer who was born in Quincy Mass. in 1946. She went to Smith College between 64-68 where she studied studio art and art history. Sandy also went to the University of Iowa where she studied film making, print making and multi media art. In 1972 she moved to New York where she worked as a conceptual artist.
Sandy is known for her repetitive, process oriented art with such techniques as Mark making and photo copying. Sandy became a teacher because of her desire to document her conceptual ideas. Sandy Skoglund still resides in Jersey City, New Jersey.
