This picture was taken in tibet. Throughought this semester i have began looking at images differently. A lot of places that I would never have stopped to take the time to look at, now inspire me to go to new places, or even just stop and take a look around.

This picture caught my eye. I really like the effect and colors added on the train. The artist said that the image was Shot with a Canon EOS 60D, and the colors were edited in through Photoshop. Hopefully in the near future I will be able to capture images and edit them in photoshop, like in this photo.

This photograph Was taken by a photographer named Adam Roberts. Throughout this semester we have been working on getting our lighting right when developing our photos. I feel like this picture was taken perfectly with the angle and amount of light given at the top of the photo

STROBES

In these past few weeks I've taken pictures with amazing lights, strobe lights. One thing that has always fascinated me about these lights is that they can capture crazy pictures when they're combined with a bullet. The picture is lit with strobe lighting and it's a paintball, filled with orange paint...as the bullet is going through the ball the picture is taken and it's fast action caught in a photograph. I don't have a gun to shoot out stuff or things to blow up but if I did and I could capture something like this...I'd do it.

My final project is loosely based on works by David Hockney.
I took portraits (which is what I plan on doing for work) and made them into "Hockney-esque" prints. They took a long time to make but they were so much fun to shoot, I can't to print this project and show it to the class. I'm happy with the way they turned out and I think for the first time I took someone else's idea and made it my own.

Creepy old lady

On my way to Navy Pier, I stopped by an art gallery, I was super intrigued when I saw an old lady looking out the gallery window. I thought she was a real live person when I couldn't stop staring at her I had to go inside and find out once and for all if she was indeed a live person. Finally getting inside, I came to find that she was in fact not a real woman! She was so real looking that it took my brain a very long time to process she didn't have a pulse. I think this old lady is incredibly real looking and I'm not sure what I would've done if she really was real.

Longest Pinhole Exposure

It was captured by the German artist Michael Wesely, who worked with New York's Museum of Modern Art to photograph the destruction (and subsequent construction) of their building. The shots are ever so ghostly. <3

Lewis Carroll

Lewis Carroll is known mainly for his book Alice in Wonderland. He was an amateur photographer as well. He did landscapes, architecture and portraits. Most of the portraits were of little girls either nude or wearing little to no clothing. He was frowned upon by those around him. The little girl in the picture, is Alice. Carroll was in love with her and even asked to marry her. Alice's family hated him and thus to apologize wrote Alice in wonderland. She was only 5 when they met.

It's a really amazing story. She's been through a lot since the photograph was taken and you can see it in here face, here face is sunken in and her skin looks rough from wind and sand.

im really excited to see everyones projects and im really going to miss this class. If anyone has any extra paper that they werent planning on using again after this class, i would like it. becuase i am out and would like to still print some more pictures this week just for family and myself.

i was looking for new lighting ideas, just for fun and i came across BLACK LIGHT! i love the look it and ive always loved playing in the black lights at parties/raves. Lloyd K.
